Gagaku is often overlooked, but she’s a powerful Summoner that automatically attacks the enemy with the lowest HP – don’t be upset with the summons die though, because they are created to die that way. Each kitsune comes with a standard 1 HP, and each time they die, they make Gagaku stronger.
That’s something a lot of players overlook, and when she awakens, she will make ANY allied summon deal passive damage upon death to the enemy. Therefore, the more summons die, the stronger Gagaku becomes and the more damage she’ll deal.

Passive: When Gagaku’s kitsune dies, deals ATK*150% to the enemy with the lowest HP and increases her own DMG Rate by 15%. When present, any allied summoned that dies will deal damage equal to 100% of Gagaku’s ATK to the enemy with the lowest HP.
Unique: Attacks an enemy column and deals ATK*330% damage. Summons 3 spirit foxes to join the battle. The foxes inherit 100% of Gagaku’s ATK and have 1 HP.
Special: Attacks an enemy column dealing 168% damage. Synnibs 1 spirit fox to join the battle, which inherits 100% of Gagaku’s ATK and has 1 HP. Chance to use skill 30%.
Normal attack: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*105% damage.

The Best Equipment for Gagaku

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Gagaku in Illusion Connect. The one and only thing you want to build on her is ATK, since her entire kit revolves around scaling her foxes with ATK.
As a weapon, I really like the Dream Chaser. It’s exactly what Gagaku needs, which is more ATK. For armor, I went for the Scarlet Cuirass, but I think the Summoner UR piece can also work on her. However, I gave that one to Ashwaya so this is the next best thing. If you want to check it out, you can consider it – the name is Maharaj’s Crown (UR), but it grants no additional ATK.
The best boots for Gagaku are probably Scarlet Warboots. As an accessory, the best one is Maharaj’s Vessel (UR). If you don’t have it, then you can go for Swaying Wine Glass, Hero’s Scarf (this is great!), Fiery Shawl, Bagua Belt or Dream Prism.
