The next Illusion Connect character to get a guide is Hachi Shiki, the first-ever character that appeared in Great Fortune battlepass. Hachi is a great unit, that could be considered the “assassin” among the Sorcerers.

She has high burst damage and can deal millions of damage to multiple enemies, with just one single attack. Her Awakening boosts that further, so it’s a given that Hachi Shiki is a top tier Sorcerer for any team right now.

Hachi Shiki’s skills (max)

Passive: When Hachi Shiki is stunned, increases her DMG RES Rate by 50%. (TLDR; Never deploy both Hachi Shiki and Rie together, it’ll make them weaker)

Unique: Deals DMG equal to ATK*350% to 3 random enemies. Reduces the target’s DMG RES Rate by 30%. The effect lasts the entire battle and cannot stack, and has a 60% chance to trigger Frenzy, increasing DMG by 100% and stunning the target for 1 round. After triggering Frenzy, Hachi will be stunned for 1 round.

Special: Attacks a single enemy dealing 160% damage, increasing her Crit Rate by 20%. Chance to use skill 30%.

Normal attack: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*105% damage.

The Best Equipment for Hachi Shiki

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Hachi Shiki in Illusion Connect. I went for the Hiikawa set on her, for no particular reason other than the fact that I like having a “complete set” (despite it granting no additional stats).

Her ideal weapon would be anything that increases her damage, so I picked Staff of Hope. Other viable options include Now or Never if you deploy her first ONLY, otherwise it won’t have any effect.

As an armor, I went for Robe of Hiikawa (UR), but Lava Suit or Floral Cloak are good too. As boots, I think the Viper Vessels of Hiikawa (UR) are ideal for Hachi Shiki because of her self stun.

The best accessory for her is also probably the Jade of Hiikawa (UR), because of the doubled AOE DMG. If you don’t have that, then go for anything with a lot of ATK or Crit, such as Dream Prism or Fiery Shawl.
