Illusion Connect Fenebeth Character Guide

Fenebeth, the Witch of Misfortune is a character that many players have acquired, maxed out, and probably don’t use as often as they would like to. I know I’m personally guilty of that, at least. This powerful witch has massive AoE damage that can also inflict a Curse which turns all healing into damage. It’s the perfect anti-heal Character, and even as a level 1, 3* Partner she can be useful.

She is ideal for PvP, when an enemy pulls out a powerful Healer – in such situations, all you need to do is deploy Fenebeth and all the healing will turn into damage instead.

In this article, you can find everything you need to know about Fenebeth, as well as which equipment would be best for her. So without further ado, let’s check it out!

The Best Equipment for Fenebeth

WeaponArmorBootsAccessory

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Fenebeth in Illusion Connect. You can actually have a number of gears for her, from full AoE damage to full buffs for the team. I don’t really think it matters that much, since chances are you’ll probably pull her mostly to counter enemy healing and chunk out some of the enemy’s HP.

Therefore, I chose to go for a mix of leftover AoE damage equip and utility. The Staff of Hope is ideal for damage, but if you want some utility then you can use one of the following: Cursed Sword, Golden Judgment, Holy Banner (actually goes well with her passive damage to low HP enemies), Lance of Ascalon or Dream Chaser.

The Armor I believe is not that important, since you will never put her in the front line. She is a “filler” unit and anti-heal, so you can give her any armor you want. However, if you want an ideal choice, I would recommend Scale Mantle or Moddick’s Tuxedo (or even any SR gear, really). When it comes to Boots, I would go for Witch’s Dance Boots, Clown Socks, or Magic Cushion (SR).

Now for a good accessory, there was a good UR one which I sadly missed (called Hello Mousepad), but you can go for one of the following too: Phoenix Eyeglasses, Holy Cross, Divine Crystal, Bagua Belt. Fenebeth has a UR gear called Poison Nail, which is an Accessory that increases her poison damage. It’s not in the game yet/

Fenebeth’s lore

If you are interested in reading the lore behind Fenebeth as a character and how she came to be the way she is, you can check out the story below. It is unlocked by increasing your intimacy level with her.

Fenebeth is actually something like a succubus, a character that sees herself as a poisonous, cursed lady. She’s got pretty interesting remarks about bandages, pets, slaves, and all that. Long story short, she’s got a pretty dominatrix-ish personality (I suppose).

Fun fact: her pet snake is called Kulkulkan – just like the Mesoamerican feathered serpent (clash of civilizations?)
Fun fact #2: her pre-Awakening chibi form is all dressed up (PG friendly), when in fact it wasn’t exactly supposed to be like that. Her Awakening form is the accurate one
