Kiraya is the next Illusion Connect character we’ll be taking a close look at. She’s a powerful tank that relies heavily on HP and Recovery, unlike many of the other tank characters that mainly specialize in Defense or Block.
Since she’s such a versatile tank, she can fit into many team comps, but mainly into a Light/Healing one to activate her Passive. That Passive effect will further increase the Recovery rate of all allies, making her a beast alongside healers. Kiraya’s Unique allows her to cast a shield that stacks up and is pretty much indestructible, so it’s ideal to place her right in front of the Leader or the other units you’re trying to protect.

Passive: When Kiraya appears, she grants a 40% HP Shield, and enemy’s Rage Restore decreases by 60%, lasts 10 seconds. Lineup Skill Activation Requirements: Deploy at least 5 Light or Healing class partners. Activation Reward: Recovery Rate of all allies increases by 50%.
Unique: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*500% damage. Grants a shield equal to 40% of the caster’s HP to all allies in the same column and stuns the target for 1 round.
Special: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*162% damage, gaining a shield that equals 10% of her HP. Chance to use skill: 30%
Normal attack: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*105% damage.
Lens Recharge Stats
- 3* effect: Increases basic ATK and HP by 10%
- 4* effect: Increases basic HP by 20% | Unique skill deals ATK*400% (+100%) damage
- 5* effect: Increases basic ATK by 20% | Passive skill reduces enemy’s Rage Recovery by 60% for 10 seconds when joining battle

The Best Equipment for Kiraya

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Kiraya in Illusion Connect. She is a solid tank with a lot of defensive prowess. Furthermore, she can also deal quite a big chunk of damage with her Unique skill, since it scales so well with ATK.
For her equipment, you want to look at anything that grants HP and stacking defensive stats. The best armors are the UR ones, such as Lionheart Armor (UR), Holy – Paladin (UR), or Glory Dress (UR). Some great SSR choices would be Emerald Heart for a weapon since it grants Reflect and Max HP. Scroll of Life is also great since it has good synergy with Kiraya’s single-target attacks.
Her ideal armor would be the UR sword that belongs to her, Nascaq’s Judgment (UR), which I don’t have, or SSR Azure Armor (which is originally Angela’s armor) or Key Protector – the latter is her OG armor, the one depicted in her character art. If you want UR equipment, I believe Lionheart Armor (UR) would be great on her since it pretty much bears her name.
For boots, the best is the Glory Golden Shoes (UR), but I would go for either Go, Knight’s Dress Boots or Boots of Peace too. They all have stacking HP and defensive stats, so they can work great with Kiraya’s kit. As an accessory, you can use her own SR piece called Royal Cloak (SR) that you probably have plenty of, or you can go for Divine Crystal or Holy Crown, or the best option, Sakura God Necklace (UR).
The reason why I love Royal Cloak (SR) so much is that it has amazing synergy with Kiraya’s HP scaling.

The interesting thing about Kiraya is that she doesn’t really care about gender. She is just awesome, and her lines are all about her being the one ‘protecting’ you. It’s amazing and quite heartwarming.
