A character that many players rerolled at the very beginning of the game, Nicola, is a Partner that just received Awakening. Nicola is one of the few Sorcerers that has a lot of uses in multiple teams thanks to her versatile kit which constantly decreases the enemy’s DMG Res Rate.
That alone makes Nicola a great unit for boss fights (Cooperative Engagement is where she shines), but not only. She can be a great unit for any PvE content since her entire kit revolves around Lifesteal. If you are looking for a character with utility, sustain and damage, she is a great addition to any team.
In this article, you can find everything you need to know about Nicola, as well as which equipment would be best for her. So without further ado, let’s check it out!

The Best Equipment for Nicola
Weapon | Armor | Boots | Accessory |

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Nicola in Illusion Connect. Nicola already has Lifesteal in her kit, so you don’t actually have to go for pure Lifesteal gear on her. However, I prefer that since I have a thing for giving the Partners their “original” equipment (Nicola has a giant meatball for weapon).
As a weapon, you can pretty much go for anything that gives damage (or sustain) – Blood Rain, Staff of Hope, Dream Chaser are all good choices. A viable UR option would be Deathless Dance (UR) for weapon, and for boots you can go for a little bit of support by selecting Pheidippides’s Path (UR).
For armor, Bloody Shirt is a must in my opinion, since Nicola can afford to take a hit (if you place her in the front line) because she will heal back up. Witch’s Dance Boots or Magic Cushion (SR) are decent boots for her, and in terms of accessories, the Swaying Wine Glass is a must!

Nicola’s lore
If you are interested in reading the lore behind Nicola as a character and how she came to be the way she is, you can check out the story below. It is unlocked by increasing your intimacy level with her.

Nicola has interesting lore actually, and it plays exceptionally well with her character model. Just like every other big-chested character, there are some interesting dialogues to be had with her. Oh, and Nicola acts more or less like a vampire.
Fun fact: Eileen calls her Tomato Queen…
*How does she walk on those heels?*
