This is a guide for Emilia in Illusion Connect, a character that is part of the Re:Zero collab – a limited-time collab that grants players access to three unique characters: Rem, Ram and Emilia.
Emilia is a healer that is not exactly in the same boat as most of the other classical healers – she also inflicts AoE damage that prevents enemies from gaining Rage, which is especially good in PvP. Together with Ram or Rem, Emilia’s Passive skill will activate, turning her Invincible probably for the duration of the entire battle.

Emilia’s skills (max)
Passive: After Emilia casts a Unique Skill restores the total Unique Skill DMG*60% HP to all allied partners.
Lineup skill activation requirement: Have Ram or Rem in the lineup.
Activation effect: When Rem or Ram is present and Emilia is in the back row, grants Emilia invincibility which can’t be stolen or dispelled.
Unique: Deals ATK*260% DMG to all enemies, preventing them from restoring Rage for 8 seconds.
Special: Attacks a single enemy dealing 160% damage, increasing Heal Rate by 15% for 2 rounds. Chance to use skill 30%.
Normal attack: Attacks a single enemy and deals ATK*105% damage.
Lens Recharge Stats
- 3* effect: Increases basic ATK and HP by 10%
- 4* effect: Increases basic HP by 20% | Unique skill deals ATK*260% DMG to all enemies, preventing them from restoring Rage for 8 seconds.
- 5* effect: Increases basic ATK by 20% | Passive skill increases the healing amount by 60% of the total damage.
- 6* effect: Chance to use Special skill +15% | Special skill increases Heal Rate by 15% for 2 rounds.
The Best Equipment for Emilia

In my opinion, this is the best equipment for Emilia in Illusion Connect.
**Note**: I am still trying out various combos, so I will update if/when I find something better!
As a weapon, the Staff of Hope is theoretically the best and I cannot see Emilia using any other weapon.
For armor, I think anything that grants her some defensive stats works, therefore the Nightmare Robe or the Floral Cloak are both great options. For boots, even though the Bamboo (UR) is great, I believe you will use it on another unit, such as Anna, so I will skip it altogether. Good alternatives include Hello Mousepad (UR), Angel’s Dance Boots and Crimson Longboots. Pick your favorite!
Lastly, the best accessory for Emilia is, in my opinion, the Dream Prism since she will gain a lot of ATK from it and if she has Invincibility, the 50% HP depletion will not really matter.
